I am trying to create an email alert for my Temperature sensor. I used Thingshttp React and IFTTT. I have been trying to make the Body in Thingshttp show a message but I have failed. The message I want to display in the email alert is "Warning! Temperature has exceeded the threshold value of 40 degrees. The current value is __".

https://www.mathworks.com/help/thingspeak/thinghttp-app.html look for the section on replacement keys
In the body section { "Warning! Temperature has exceeded the threshold value ofl" : "%%channel_12345_field_1%%" }

These can be hard to debug. One thing that I do is use a site like https://webhook.site/ and another ThingHTTP. Then you can see what the message is that is being sent from ThingSpeak and the react script/ThingsHTTP combination.
I just tried a couple of mine IFTTT SMS integrations and they were not working. I'm wondering if the problem might be on the IFTTT side.
Looks like SMS may not work any more https://help.ifttt.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023055054-Important-changes-to-the-SMS-service . More investigation needed.
