Its not quite so convenient but you can host your pages on github (https://pages.github.com/). For simple HTML/CSS/Javascript you dont really need to install a git client you can use the Github editor directly on the site.

See https://rw950431.github.io/envirodisp/temp.html for an example. The source can be viewed at https://github.com/rw950431/envirodisp

On my 1 year old account the public checkbox of an App / plugin is present and working.

But....
I made some weeks ago a new account for a friend and here the public checkbox is missing

Is it possible for Thingspeak to repair this option, otherwise the plugin cannot be added
to the public part of the channels!

Thanks!

I posted a topic in 'general' this afternoon as I didnt know it was discussed here.

In my coding area there is the option to unbox 'private view'. Nevertheless the lock on in the gauge overview page stays and it is impossible to add a gauge to the public page.

I would love to show my friends the temperature, all help is welcome 🙂

Is there any way to get plugins to work externally? Surly everybody seems to want it, so why can't it me adapted to make it happen? I need to view plugins on my mobile phone but can't as each time I try it logs me out and it is causing me much pain. Why can't this be an option???

I've searched and searched for a solution with no luck.  I've found this channel https://thingspeak.com/channels/34247 that has a public plugin working.  Does anyone use another service?

Any update to this? I just added a multi-data chart plugin and I can't make it public. If I uncheck "private" is just disappears from private and does not appear in public.

It may be possible to do what you want to do with MATLAB visualizations. It is possible to make visualizations public, but not plug ins. Can you describe the chart that you created? Perhaps we can reproduce it without the plugin.

Yes I am able to produce something similar with MATLAB, but visually is does not look as good as the multi-graph plugin.

Can you link an example, or show the code you used to create the plot? We are always looking for examples of great things users make so we can consider including them in the service.

It's just your built in plugin. "Chart with multiple series"

The MATLAB version does not look as good.
