I've have a working twitter control app which is now updating my thingspeak channel. I'm now working on an Arduino sketch which will listen to my thingspeak channel and... if the channel gets updated, then the LED on pin 13 will blink for a second.

I used the CheerLights Arduino Ethernet Sketch as a starting place, but I'm having an issue with creating with my void loop()

I know it needs to be something like this, but really I have no idea. Could someone help point me in the right direction?

void loop() {

if (client.available()) {

//Look for updates to channel

digitalWrite(led, HIGH);
digitalWrite(led, LOW);

Hi jp...

Sorry for the delay.

I would check your constants and setup section.

You need to specify which pin the LED is on and make sure the pin set to an OUTPUT.

const int led =  13;

void setup() {
  pinMode(led, OUTPUT);
