Hello all.

I have a question about a bulk update feature:

I need to send data to two channels using the bulk update. Every time my device wakes, it starts a monitoring process, and then sends the final results to two different channels. My questions is if it is possible, send two consecutive bulk update requests to different channels and doesn't wait for 15 seconds between each one. According to the documentation, the time between two consecutive requests is 15 seconds or more, but it doesn't specify if the channels are the same or different.

thanks you

You do not need to wait for 15 seconds between successive bulk writes to different channels. You may want to make sure to give the device time to clear its buffer before sending the second request if it is a memory limited device or especially large post, but a few 100 ms should do if you need it.

Hello cstapels.

So if I have understood right, because the channels are different, it isn't necessary wait for 15 seconds between each bulk update, only a few ms. This news is great for me, because this means that my device can send two bulk consecutive updates to two different channels with no wait so much time. This suppose a very important save of energy in long term in my device battery.

Thank you very much.
