Hi,
I've a channel that reports my freezer's temperature and the 'No Data Check' feature to report a power outage (e.g. Raspberry PI goes offline). I'm using React/ThingHttp to trigger an IFTTT notification when my RPI goes offline (no data check). It works great.
I can also track the temperature of my freezer by logging in to the thingspeak dashboard.
I tried to send the URL to the temperature chart to my mobile phone but when I click on the URL I get 'Invalid Channel'. It's because thingspeak does not know who I am on my mobile phone and the channel is private.
However, I was expecting that thingspeak.com would ask for my login credentials and then show me the chart (and just that chart).
It works fine when I make the channel public but that's not something I like to do (my freezer's reading are private to me).
Is there any way to share a link to a chart (or channel) so that a person who knows the correct login credentials to thingspeak can view that chart?

Use the charts API and embed the read api key in the link that you send. Then the user you send the link to will not need to be logged in. If the api key gets out of your hands, you can manually change it when you wish. If you supply the read key, other users will not have the ability or write data or to see the channel view. They will be able to read data.

FYI, MATLAB answers is the preferred location for ThingSpeak Community support.
