Hi,
I'm developing a monitoring device that will help us collecting data about the fermentation process of our homebrewed beer. Since I can't be sure that the internet connection will be up-and-running 100% of the time I've implemented a local logging system as well.
The local logging happens like this:
- all entries are logged on a SD card for later extraction
- all failed calls to Thingspeak (or any future web service) are logged in local queueing files (small files for easier processing)
A cool thing would be that I'm able to upload these queueing files to Thingspeak similar to the import method on the Channel page but using the API.
It's just an idea, but it would be a nice feature (and not too difficult to implement, I suppose).
Kind regards,
Niels R.
