Can't log in - mwa_login returns 404

Hello,

I'm trying to log into my ThingSpeak account but after clicking Sign in the button starts to spin and hangs.

When looking into Chrome dev tools I can see that request to https://login.mathworks.com/authenticationws/service/v3/login returns 200 along with my account details but the next request to https://thingspeak.com/users/mwa_login returns 404 with the response: "The page you were looking for doesn't exist. You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved.".

Can someone help me with that please?

We are unable to reproduce this on our end.

Can you share a screenshot of the browser window when this happens? Please also include details about your browser (brand, version) and your operating system.Also please list all browser extension that are installed in your browser.

It would be important to know if you are using a VPN service and what country you are in.

Hi,

thanks for the reply. I got it working 🙂 I was trying Opera in incognito mode and Safari earlier but after your response I've also tried it on Android Chrome and it worked. I was looking for the differences and it turned out that on desktop I was logging in using https://thingspeak.com/users/sign_in url. I got there by searching for Thingspeak in Google and using Sign In link from the results. On mobile I entered thingspeak.com directly and then Sign In button which redirects to https://thingspeak.com/login which works fine.

The question remains why Google shows old (?) url in the results and should this url exist at all if it's not working correctly.

Thanks for the follow up. I'm glad you are able to log in.

We'll do what we can to make sure Google shows the correct link in the future.
