Hello,

I am trying to send data from an ESP32 to ThinkSpeak, where I will run some matlab code to filter the data and plot it.
My issue is, the data has a sampling rate of 250Hz, and each packet has about 20Bytes in it. So that's 250x20 = 5kBytes per second.

Is there any way of doing this reliably? I need to plot the data in real-time. It is ok if there is a fixed delay, but I can't have the data slowing down or coming in chunks, it needs to be a continuous plot.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Can you describe your end goal?

If you're looking to filter the data, can you not do that on the device? Why do that operation in the cloud? Since you do not control latency and throughput from your device to the cloud, I'm not sure you can guarantee that data rate and "real time" nature o ThingSpeak plots.

Again, if you describe what you are trying to do, we can guide you to the right solution.
