Hi,

I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to do, but you may be able to modify this script ( http://community.thingspeak.com/2014/05/official-tutorial-monitoring-linux-server-statistics/ ) to do what you need.

Thanks, that is the idea, adding some logic to the script, can i got the service status and reflected in my channels

the script check for a specific service running or not and update a $string

if test -e 'my_service.pid';
then
my_service=1
echo $my_service
else
my_service=0
echo $my_server
fi
