I built a tide gauge with an IO-204 and a MB7360 ultrasonic sensor.
It has worked well for about a year, but now has become erratic, unstable and not reliable.
Sometimes it is correct, others wildly off.
I replaced the ultrasonic sensor and temp sensor.
Problem remains.
Does this have anything to do with the ioBridge changes?
What else could cause this.
I tried to buy a new IO-204 but seems to be no longer available.
Also emails and calls to Thingspeak and iobridge remain unanwsered.
What can you suggest?

Hi,

I've informed Hans from ioBridge, and he'll get back to you on this.

Sorry about the delay... Usually when the readings get erratic, there is a loose connection on the analog input of the IO-204. Look real close to the analog input that you have it connected to and see if anything is loose or making contact with another connection. I have seen wires from other pins touch each other and cause the same issue. Let me know if you find anything.

Hans, anything to report on this issue, I have been contacted by others with same issue.
I would buy another IO-204 or replacement if I could get a response from your end
I included my formulas for your inspection, they are unchanged since install except
the offset, trying to make it accurate again.

Label:
tide gauge II

Expression:
rng5mm=%%input:24001970,AI,1%%;rngcm=rng5mm/2;inches=rngcm*.3937;feet=inches/12;offset=9.1;level=offset-feet;%%format:1%%

Scale:
Auto-refresh: On
Style: Gauge
Gauge Text: feet
Gauge Minimum: -3
Gauge Maximum: 3
Thanks
Keith

Hans,
Sorry for the delay on my end, the tide gauge is two hours from me, so I don't get by there regularly.
This IO-204 only has the ultrasonic sensor's three wires plugged into AI #1.
I unplugged and replugged the connections with no change.
The sensor was replaced as said before, and it is available on line, so only other thing is IO-204.
I would like to buy another IO-204 but can't seem to get a response on the purchase.
It is on the internet through a Sierra wireless device.
Is it possible something changed in the IO Bridge translation of the data??
My customer is looking else where for support as I could not provide another IO-204.

what do I do to get this working again?
Can I pay someone to check the setup? I have the original formulas they have not changed.
can you email me at tech.nautical@verizon.net
